Considering I am at 2 days 11 hours and 53 minutes, you have me beat by 2.5 hours. You should have as many posts as me then. Of the 116,000 hits, Perry and Andie had a cool 47,000 an I had 25,000.

A good part of my time here is with other applications going and the web browser running in the background. Since I sit in front of a computer ~10 hours a day (when I have nothing else going on) it is easy to rack up time.

Holy bandwidth, Batman!
Adding the shoutbox made us use 77 megs of bandwidth in 2 days and increase the hits to 30,000 already for 3 days in December.

If it gets to be too much, maybe we could switch to a chatroom type thing.

I think it's because of the refreshing. Todd said we don't have a problem unless we go over 250 gb of bandwidth, but I will definitely consider changing to a chat room if it grows too much. |

Can you change the rate at which the shoutbox auto-refreshes? Maybe once every 5 or 10 minutes will save on bandwidth, especially when one of us has the site sitting idle in a background browser.

It doesn't give an option for the refresh. I would have to find the data file where that code is located and then change it and then reinstall the shoutbox.

February web stats: again lower from the amount of time I've had to spend, but the unique visitors are up, probably due to my thread on S2Ki about the March 22 drive.
