Tax season is winding down and I can begin to have a life again. Anyone interested in doing the usual...Palomar/Julian route?

Your drives are a wee bit too aggressive for my taste.
My S2000 needs a throttle body. new clutch, and different brakes. I took it to Buttonwillow a couple of weeks ago, and the brakes lasted less than a lap. I never have liked them on the streets, either. That's what I get for choosing a "low dust" street compound.

Just hang in the back and drive your own pace. We always wait up when we have to make a turn so that we don't lose anyone.
If you want, I could ship you my brand new Hawk pads that I haven't used yet. I think they will fit your car. Then you can ship them back to me when you get home. That way, you'll have better brakes.

I am the one who is getting yelled at by the police and the cyclists. I am the only one going slow enough for them to yell at.
I can't do anything that weekend anyways. It is the only week Vivian has off between classes. She is getting a masters in taxation, and has applied at the IRS. I think we head up to Nappa to get away for several days.

I am going to be in Texas that weekend. Also, I have gotten real tired of signing up for trackdays to run 2 laps or less. I have decided to not do any anytime soon.

There have been a couple that I paid for and then did not even bother to leave the house. I think those are cheaper per lap than the ones where I go and do 2 laps. Until I get the cars fixed, I am not going farther than Buttonwillow. Saves the hotel cost.

If your not comfortable with the pace, you can always shuffle toward the back of the pack. We don't want to scare anyone away. There is always a place for everyone. Hockey |
