I am going to map out all my corner speeds on Excel this morning like I did for Laguna Seca and find my best and worst spots.

Also, if I manipulate the start/finsh line on the last lap, I get a 2:02.9. So, next time, my goal is to analyze my tape and data to see where I can maximize and get a 2:02.5. I think that's achievable without pushing past the limit. I would love to be able to splice the best corners together to see what my perfect lap time would be, but I don't think it's possible.

I did find one thing very interesting about the data today. In analyzing my shift from 3rd to 4th, I found the car loses about .8 mph and it takes a full second for the car to regain the lost speed. Depending on the situation could mean saving time by winding out a little further and risk bouncing the limiter if in between shift and brake points. I also found that my limiter officially kicks in at 88.61 mph in 3rd gear because it bounced approaching T6.

Vinnie,
I am here! Hello All. Yes we had a ball and should be doing more of this. I will post up some Laguna Seca photos as soon as I can. As far as the line at turn 7, it is actually faster (IMO) to double apex it and let the car unwind track left. I could be wrong considering the speed you carry taking it wide and single into the esses.
Nice forum. Will be back soon.

I reach 87 mph, 1 mph from the limiter in 3rd before braking for T8. I'm thinking if I take a different line, faster line through T7, it is going to put me in between shift points and actually slow me down more. I guess that means I have to upgrade my suspension so I can take the corner faster in 4th and not let off!

Larry posted a video. At the 4:10 mark, check out the billows of smoke from my brakes. They faded REALLY bad. I had to let the BMW go by so I could cool them down and not hold him up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5_uPoJsAI8

I am thinking about it. But I have not done this in over a year, an don't know that I am comfortable making my triumphant return at Sears Point. Feel like getting a day in for some instruction in the mean time. Just don't know if I can do it in time.

That may work. Right now I might feel more comfortable if there was a D or E group.
